Flying squirrels can build their nests and can create mess by their droppings in your house, so you need to keep them away from your house or attics.

Forcing them to leave

Moth balls can be the savior as flying squirrels does not like the smell of moth balls. Put them in something and keep that thing around their nest and they will leave on their own. Strobe lights can also work as strobe lights are distressing and extremely uncomfortable for the eyes of flying squirrels. Also poisonous spray can work as they try to escape from the smell but it can also kill them.

Seeking help from wild animal centers

You can also ask help from wild animal centers; they will come and expertly remove the flying squirrels from your house and will keep them in their center. You can also call to your local humane society; they can also take flying squirrels out of your house and release them in their natural habitat.

Taking away the food

You can get rid of flying squirrels if you take away their food supply. They cannot stick around if they cannot eat. Make sure that they are not building their nests and keeping their food inside. Also make sure not to leave any fallen fruit, vegetable or something on your ground and if you have a pet, keep his food inside. Make sure your house is well sealed and look for crevice and small holes in your wall and fill them with moth balls. This will not let flying squirrel enter in to your house.
